Koya

This cute little "cafe looking" restaurant in Soho offers the best Udon I have had for a very long time.
I managed to get a 'shared' table walking in at around 1pm, and as soon as we sat down, free bottle of tap water was brought to us.
The menu is very comprehensive and it offers different variations of Udon - hot and cold. There is a small selection of Donburi for any rice lovers.

At first, I thought the prices were a little bit over priced for a bowl of noodles, but when the dishes came, all my doubts had disappeared.
Ten Mori - 2 Prawns and Vegetable Tempura

Hiyashi Kizami - Fried Tofu and Spring Onion     Onsen Tamago - Poached Egg

Hiyashi Buta Miso - Pork and Miso paste      Extra topping - natto (fermented soy bean)

Budget rating: 8/10
Food rating: 9/10
